Pros

In my job I get to meet and hear the stories of the kids we serve and it has shown me that OneChild is making a real impact for good in the lives of many. I also love the team I work with. Caring people who are genuinely for one another.

Cons

As in common in the non-profit sector we are trying to do a lot with a small team. This is not so much a "con" as a reality if we want to make maximum imact.

Pros

A relatively small staff serving 40,000+ kids. It is great to be a part of such meaningful work serving along dedicated, genuinely caring people who are in it for the kids. I am treated with trust and respect by leadership and colleagues and I feel my work matters. I've also been given great opportunities to grow.

Cons

Always wish there were more hours in the day because there are always more kids waiting that need us. In my experience that's a normal problem at a growing ministry.
