Pros

The business has a strong leadership team that is driving the company forward and actively embracing technology. The CEO, Dav, is highly visionary, with a deep understanding of the market and a clear focus on continuous progress rather than standing still. It’s a great place to work if you are motivated, want to be successful, and are prepared to put in the effort. The leadership team is highly skilled, and there is a lot to learn from them. There is a genuine passion that runs throughout the company. With the backing of Harris Computer, the business is well positioned to continue growing and evolving, with a clear shift towards a more commercial and scalable model.

Cons

As the business continues to grow, there is an ongoing shift towards a more commercial focus, which may not suit everyone, particularly those used to a more traditional or less sales-driven environment. At times, the pace of change can be fast, and expectations are high, which can be challenging for individuals who prefer more structure or stability.

Pros

As a developer stability is better than chaos and OneFIle delivers. A solid roadmap, super knowledgeable UX and great product team delivering into tight 2 week sprints. Obviously there's left field stuff that comes in, but you're in a well rounded team with backed up by dedicated testers. The products themselves are a diverse set but means you get a cross set of skills (for isntance my SQL was shockingly out of date when i arrived but you pick it up again in a patient environment - with lots of help if needed). All of this backed up by enthusastic leaders under the ownership of Harris a listed Canadian based super owner of small software companies (and not private equity).

Cons

The spread of different software frameworks can be irratating at times but your likely to come across in any buinesss - at least theres a push to really adopt modern tech and frameworks in anything new.

Pros

At OneFile, I couldn't be happier with how they value their employees. They genuinely care about our work-life balance, giving us the flexibility to manage our personal lives and work effectively. It's refreshing that we don't have to constantly push ourselves to the limit, and instead, we get to be part of an exciting strategy that merges business requirements with technology. What I love most is the innovation that goes into our products. We're always pushing the boundaries and creating solutions that make a real impact. But it's not just about the products; the people here make a huge difference too. Our teams are fantastic, our managers are supportive, and the leadership sets a great example for all of us. Being part of OneFile feels like being part of a community where everyone's contributions matter. The atmosphere is positive and motivating, and it's inspiring to see how we all work together towards shared goals. If you're looking for a place where you can grow, be challenged, and work with fantastic people, OneFile is the place to be.

Cons

I appreciate the importance of taking time for reflection, although our work's dynamic nature can occasionally lead to minor distractions. Nevertheless, these distractions often spark unexpected moments of creativity and innovation.
