1. The organizational structure is quite flat, making it easy to communicate with anyone across the company. 2. There's a high degree of autonomy in how you plan and execute your projects—you’re trusted to choose the best methods. 3. Team members, including leadership, are open-minded and receptive to constructive feedback. 4. You're encouraged to actively participate in day-to-day decision-making and contribute ideas that can directly impact the company. 5. The pace is fairly fast, and priorities can shift quickly when new opportunities arise. That said, I’ve never had to work beyond my regular hours. 6. There are still plenty of low-hanging fruits—lots of opportunities for impactful improvements.

Cons

1. The company is still relatively small, so ad-hoc tasks are part of the job. On average, I spend about 70% of my time on core projects and 30% on ad-hoc work. That said, roughly half of these ad-hoc tasks are quite interesting and can lead to valuable discoveries or cost savings for the company.

Pros

Otrium's diverse and inclusive team consists of many talented and friendly people. The team spirit is strong! It offers many growth opportunities. I started as an intern in a different department than where I currently work. The level of trust is high. Additionally, the work-life balance (flexible working hours) is excellent.

Cons

Sometimes, the workload can be high, but that's understandable when working for a startup.
