Cons

Working for a nonprofit will not be highly lucrative, but you will be compensated in so many other valuable ways!

I love that my work contributes to something meaningful and I am grateful that my way of earning income is something that I care about, benefits animals and the world, and doesn't really feel like work. My team is awesome and the perks are really beneficial to me/what I care about.

Cons

Standard office hours aren't always ideal but to be expected and I'm always able to take time off (vacation or sick) when needed!
