Pros

An excellent product that genuinely enhances people's lives, and a relaxed and pleasant work environment. The company has gone above and beyond to keep employees safe during the current pandemic. I consider myself very fortunate to work for a company that puts the well being of its employees and the patients who use its products above all else, including profits.

Cons

Nothing significant that comes to mind.

Pros

Best part of the job: satisfaction at being part of a company whose products change people's lives. I turned down higher paying job offers to work here, and have never regretted it. The company has an excellent reputation in the industry, strong relationships with vendors, and its products are highly regarded in the medical field. The company is very well managed, with top management exhibiting the highest of ethics, and a genuine concern for patients, customers and employees. The vast majority of negative reviews on this site are old, posted by former disgruntled employees with an axe to grind, and don't reflect current culture or management. Upper management is very accessible, and very friendly, and goes out of its way to promote a team environment. The company produces medical devices and the focus at Passy Muir is reflected in its mission statement, with emphasis on what's best for patients. Standards are high, reflective of this emphasis, but the work environment is friendly and employees are encouraged to be creative and self-motivated.

Cons

A bit understaffed. Company could use a few more employees. Pay rate is low for the area.

Pros

There is a large emphasis on building and maintaining a team-oriented environment--no employee is an island and help is always available if you need it, from everyone and anyone. Many positions collaborate with other departments so that everyone is always aware of current activities at the company. Executive management highly encourages individual growth and consistently assures ample opportunities to rise and succeed, so long as you yourself are willing to.

Cons

None at this present time.
