Pros

I have learned more in 7 months as an EA at a startup than I could anywhere else. Working alongside the CEO has helped deepen my knowledge and understanding of business as a whole, as well as challenged me both personally and professionally. Excited to see how I can grow and progress in my role here.

Cons

Although it can be overwhelming wearing multiple hats, it has benefited my ability to multi-task and take on more and more responsibilities.

Pros

I've worked at five different agencies in my short career – some I've had good experiences at and some I've had bad. I had turned down an offer from Pearpop for another role previously in my career and was thrilled that another opportunity to join came up later. The client work is extremely diverse which keeps things fresh and is helping me build an strong personal portfolio. It's a small agency with a small team that has become pretty close-knit. The group we have now are all smart and kind which is rare at any agency. I hope to be here a while! Management is open to feedback and it's the type of place that allows you to craft your role into something to further your career aspirations.

Cons

It's not a very diverse company but I think they're working on that.

Pros

- Chances to work with lots of new and cutting edge tech like AI - Early stage engineering team so lots of opportunity to make an impact - Massive opportunity for growth in the space with such a new industry - Profitability means much more stability and resources than a typical startup - Highly collaborative culture with solid communication within the engineering team specifically

Cons

- Still building out the team on the engineering side so many things are in flux at the moment
