Pros

I worked at Phantom for nearly a year and a half and loved every minute of it. I'm kind of sad (and a bit confused by some reviews?) to see people didn't have the same experience. Would say everyone is treated very fairly and given every opportunity to perform. They say it comes from the top down – the management at all levels in Phantom is unrivalled. Emily, the CEO, was inspiring to me, and proves that as a young woman, you can be kind and fierce, and still make a huge mark and influence in your industry. Each person in a Head / Lead position at Phantom brings such different skill sets and personalities, but the collaboration and aim for the agency is completely unified. You'll work with some of the most unbelievably creative people out there – Phantom work with top tier clients because the talent is truly the best of the best. You're absolutely expected to work hard and be accountable, but it's a shared effort and I've never felt more supported and pushed to deliver to the best I can by my team. I miss them a lot! Phantom also invests their own time and talent into bringing awareness to social issues – which is something that can be lacking in this industry. No matter how busy we are as an agency, there is never a shortage of those putting their hands up to contribute to any piece of activism initiated, which I think speaks volumes about the culture and type of people who work there.

Cons

If you want to fly under the radar and "just cruise," I would look elsewhere.

Pros

I've been working at Phantom for several years, and genuinely feel it's one of the best places I've ever worked so felt like I should write a review to reflect that. - Exceptional colleagues who are genuinely passionate, skilled, and supportive. There's a true sense of teamwork and collaboration. - Projects are diverse, challenging, and rewarding. The high standards have significantly advanced my skills and professional growth. - Excellent office environment - modern, comfortable, dog-friendly, and inclusive, with snacks and great facilities. - Solid work-life balance. Despite what I've read elsewhere, it's rare anyone works beyond 6 pm, and the studio is generally empty by then. Management actively encourages leaving on time. - Flexible working policy that includes three days in-office and two days remote, striking a great balance for team connection and personal flexibility. The only restriction on remote working is that employees can't work internationally, which is reasonable for operational efficiency.

Cons

- The culture some mention simply reflects our passion for the work and high standards. Those who embrace this culture thrive professionally here. Employees who feel alienated might struggle because the environment demands dedication and high-quality output, which naturally isn't for everyone. - Regarding compensation and respect for employees, the founders have consistently demonstrated their commitment. During the pandemic, they reinvested savings to keep the company stable without furloughing or making redundancies. Salaries are competitive, transparent, and clearly linked to career progression, ensuring employees understand how they can advance professionally and financially form day one. Typically, complaints about salary come from employees with short tenure who accepted clearly outlined terms upon hiring...
