      Great place to work in a thriving start up

      Pros

      I started off working here as a placement student out of university, the company were very accomodating - after my placement ended I continued on with my degree at university whilst working on a part time basis. I got a wide range of experience across many different areas and it was also encouraging to be trusted with a level of responsibility from an early stage. The company have a great culture and work environment and I very much enjoy my role here. There is great opportunity within the company for individuals to progress their career and also comes with the possibility of travel as a bonus for anyone interested.

      Cons

      As a fairly new start up company, priorities can be constantly changing so it can be difficult to keep up if unable to think on your feet at times - some people may see this as a negative.

      Great company, great people

      Pros

      The people are the some of the best in the industry, the work is interesting - there is ALOT more to deathcare than you would think. The atmosphere is great, people work hard and give a lot to their jobs - and are very supportive. There is trust and flexibility from my manager, which matters to me personally. Hybrid working works well - 2 days a week in the office is manageable. Lovely coffee and great social events - allows us to get to know eachother outside of work conversations.

      Cons

      Customers (especially the bigger ones) can be demanding - I guess thats not unique to this industry. Sometimes I think we could push back a bit more. There is pressure on space as the company has grown - shared spaces get booked up quickly which can be frustrating when you're in the office.

      Pros

      Flexible working, especially useful for people with young families who work here. In tech, lots of opportunities to experiment and drive the product forward with new features. Freedom to develop cutting edge software without being micromanaged. Exciting to work on a product that is always evolving. So much scope continues to open the door to implementation of exciting new technologies. Plenty of freedom and opportunities to learn and grow.

      Certain customers can be demanding.
