      Pros

      Provided lots of opportunity to develop and grow my skillsets. Overall we're developing a great product that is altering the landscape of what is possible in the mortgage space. Being here for 5 years I've seen the trajectory of the business and it is upward. By and large it has been positive for me here. I find the product interesting and my interactions with leadership good.

      Cons

      Like any start up there are lots zigs and zags so that can be tiring for sure. If you are someone who thrives living in a box then this could be a hard place to be as you do end up wearing many hats.

      The people make this place. Smart, low-ego teammates who actually care about getting things right for customers. Cross-functional collaboration is real — product, engineering, and CS work together rather than over the fence. Leadership is accessible and gives you room to own your work without micromanaging. Pace is fast but you're trusted to prioritize.

      Cons

      High bar means high expectations. Not the right place if you want to coast.

      Polly has been a great place to work. The people are smart, supportive, and genuinely care about customers and the company’s success. I’ve appreciated the opportunity to take ownership, learn quickly, and work on meaningful problems. Like any growing company, things move fast and priorities can shift, but overall the environment is collaborative, positive, and rewarding. I’d recommend Polly to someone who wants to work with great people on a strong product in a company that is still growing and improving.
