Pros

Company has been operating remotely for over ten years so they do it very well. We have monthly team meetings where multiple management and team members contribute - so you get the important need-to-know information + all the fun stuff too. Everyone on the team is very approachable, no matter the department, including management. Being a tech company we get to work on a cool platform which means it's easy to engage with other people. You can look up and see if they are online, what time they start, if they are on holiday leave or a lunch break etc. There are no slack channels. Communications are preferred to be pointed, they prefer conversations over emails, use chat where necessary etc. Always exciting new innovations coming out and the client list is mind-blowing. Remote work is life-changing.

Cons

Not really any cons. It can be difficult at times to get information or catch people to get work signed off, but you just have to book a meeting. No different from any other company. We work across multiple time zones at once which means its always a crazy time for someone, but management are very conscious of this and work to ensure it moves around for the team. It's fun to get up at some odd hour and see everyone online and collaborating.

Pros

- Innovative product which is rapidly growing market share. - A great team of people, who care about the success of the company and each other. - Flexible working arrangements which suits me as a parent of 2 young children. - Supportive management who help staff outside of what they would normally be required to do. - hard work and performance is recognised and rewarded

Cons

Can be long hours and hours outside of 9-5 due to the global nature of the business.

Hard work but you make a difference in the IT industry

Pros

You work from home if you are not close to an office. Great people and great projects to work on, with the latest technologies. You really are part of a team and can suggest things, changes, and improvements as a professional software developers.

Cons

It's quite hard sometimes due to deadlines and projects to finish. You usually have to work more than 8 hours a day, more like 9 or 10 in some cases, but then when the release of your work is done it's satisfying that really big companies will use what you've done and so you are actually changing how people work in the IT and online world.
