Pros

Great people and emphasis on culture, conducive learning environment for entry level. Solid WLB

Cons

Slow processes at times, very “by the book” in terms of bank policy and procedure oriented which is likely typical for a regional commercial bank.

Pros

Although I have only been with the company for a few months, my experience has been very positive thus far. After spending 15 years at a less supportive organization, joining Provident has been a refreshing change. The company’s culture stands out, and every colleague I have encountered has been welcoming, professional, and supportive.

Cons

Compensation at Provident is somewhat below current market standards. Additionally, some branches appear to be understaffed, which can create a demanding work environment. The company is still building its presence in southern New Jersey, and this limited footprint may contribute to lower morale in certain regions.
