Pros

At one point the field team was really great....hard working, authentic people who really loved the brand. They do make a nice powder foundation.

Cons

Turn and burn attitude toward employees at ALL levels-not just freelancers. You see so many freelance reviews on this site because the company is dependent on freelancers shoving it down customer's throats instead of relying on high quality, innovative products that should sell themselves. The turnover among executives and freelancers AND corporate employees is nothing short of outrageous and extremely telling of the company's lack of regard for its people.

Pros

The few gratis products you get. Good pay, but the mental stress you'll experience is not worth it. Great company discount on the products. No boss is breathing down your neck and you get to build your business, they will however breathe down your neck electronically. The products are great quality.

Cons

Complete unheard lack of boundaries. The way the account execs run the business is close to a mental torture chamber! .You're N E V E R off, even when you're off. They only pay you for the hours spent in store, so when the account exec reach out to you excessively any given day of the week to have 'talks' about your sales (outside of the days you're working) which is quite often, or do conference calls mid week -although the work hours are usually scheduled between Thursday and Sunday- it's all unpaid and expected for you to do and be available for. The chat forum that's utilized to communicate with the team , have message alerts going off non stop and is constantly bombarded with numbers and messages about how far behind we all are-that's expected to be read (again, even on your days off). Completely unrealistic sales goals. When you don't reach your goal it's expected you catch up AND reach your set goal on the following shift and there is no end to how many times you have to hear about it in the group chat room (that all freelance artist have access to = 'public' humiliation+ Unnecessary stress) as well as through text messages and emails. If you're not 100% to goal they will hold back your hours unless you have a talk with the acct exec. All the stores have the same daily goal regardless of traffic lol. No benefits or anything associated with a full time job, but it's required you're available to them 7 days a week. If you're looking to get a foot in the beauty business by all means apply. They're hiring heavy in the Facebook beauty forums , which should alert you that something is not right.
