Exciting Opportunities in a Fast-Paced and High-Standard Industry

Pros

The company operates in a dynamic, fast-paced regulated industry that keeps work engaging and challenging. High-quality standards foster a culture of excellence and attention to detail. There is significant room for personal and professional growth for those willing to learn and adapt. Leadership values proactive employees who take initiative and ownership of their work. Opportunities to gain deep industry knowledge while working on meaningful projects.

Cons

The fast-paced nature may be overwhelming for those who prefer a slower or less demanding work environment. Adapting to the regulated industry requires a steep learning curve, especially for newcomers. Processes could sometimes feel rigid due to compliance requirements, but this is necessary for maintaining high-quality standards.

Pros

Qualer is a huge opportunity for those who stick around. The vision, the technology, the people are awesome. It has a startup feeling to it, but the product is actually pretty mature. New features are released constantly. The communication channels are wide open, I feel like everyone is participating and everyone is eager to help. It can be a grind. Actually most of the time it is. It is kind of normal for a fast growing company. The extra effort is not really expected but is gladly volunteered by most. The challenges are interesting, there is not a dull moment here. Hours are pretty flexible, as long as things get done. No micromanagement here, but not a lot of hand-holding as well. You've got to know what you want and apply yourself to the best of your abilities. Some employees came in for one position and ended up growing into something else entirely. Slackers and "corporate survival experts" historically didn't last long. Some former hires left a mess that we had to deal with but it is getting back on track. If you are passionate and responsible about getting things done, can take ownership of tasks big and small and have a positive can-do attitude, you will be appreciated here and the opportunities are endless. Think about being on the base floor of Amazon or Google.

Cons

- Offices have little room for further expansion. A move to a bigger space is probably in the near future. Parking is also limited. - Traffic in the area gets pretty bad in the peak hours

Pros

I have had an easy time transitioning into my role with a lot of team support. Feel comfortable making mistakes and have enough information from coworkers to learn from it.

Cons

Start ups do push us into wearing other hats when needed, but since we are a very team based organization, I am always willing to pitch in.
