Pros

Varied work means you are always learning, fast pace means you see value from your work immediately and great people to work with!

Cons

Small fast growing company means that, at times things are not as structured or laid out as everyone would like

Pros

- People at QS are very smart, personable and approachable people. I definitely feel that it is an environment where I can learn a tremendous amount from my colleagues - Good perks: Health Insurance, Work from Abroad (I am spending a month in an entirely different continent this year) , flexible hybrid working - Once a month there is a meeting where insights into company performance are provided and an AMA (ask me anything) with the CEO, providing a lot of transparency - The work tends to be very interesting and challenging - You are giving a lot of responsibility - I have a very healthy relationship with my line manager where I can be open and transparent with him and know that he has my best interests at heart. - There is a very large learning budget that you are encouraged to utilise (with no clawback agreement) which promotes self development. - People tend to develop in their careers quickly here.

Cons

It is a relatively small company so of course there is a trade off for all the freedom this allows you, and that tradeoff tends to be all the growth pains that smaller companies tend to experience: - There is a lot of change, sometimes too much, in terms of ways of working, team dynamics, culture etc. - There seems to be fairly high levels of attrition (though the cause of this is unknown) - Financial uncertainty due to being bootstrapped (though this is likely due to change with investment) These are all tradeoffs that you take when you work for a start up and personally they are worth it for the perks.

Pros

- Interesting projects focused on tackling complex business problems - The opportunity to work across multiple industries with opportunities to specialise if desired - Highly knowledgeable and supportive team - Unsual bi-annual appraisal cycle, increasing opportunities for promotion and pay increases

Cons

- Certain processes are messy but probably to be expected given the size of the organisation - Overall the working hours are good but if on a short client project there may be additional time required (nature of a consultancy)
