Worked at The Berkeley Square Hotel for nearly a year. I have nothing but good things to say about HR and management. When I started in September of 2024, HR helped advance me part of my first pay check so that I could place a holding deposit on a flat. HR has always been quick to respond and helpful! When I started, I was also going through a tough personal time and The Berkeley management team was very understanding, helpful and accommodating with my requests; always checking in on me. The teams across the company function as a unit and are constantly adapting and discussing ways to be more efficient and accommodating. The team I worked with at the desk was lovely (Miguel, Amy, Sophie, Liam, Sarah, Noah, Polly, El, Mike). Everyone from the Square Club is great and communicative as well!

I had a really positive experience working at Quarter. From the very beginning, I felt genuinely valued not just as an employee, but as a person. The team are incredibly friendly and supportive – not just my direct managers, but people across the business, including the wider head office team who were always fun to be around and made the workplace feel welcoming. There was a strong focus on training and development, and I was encouraged to get involved, ask questions, and grow in confidence. Even when I decided to move on to another opportunity, I felt completely supported in taking that next step. I would definitely recommend Quarter to graduates looking for their first steps into the field they are interested in, or to anyone wanting to work in hospitality more generally – the team genuinely care and that makes a real difference.
