Pros

I've been working as a Frontend Engineer at Remedico for over a year with several months remotely due to COVID-19. Theres a lot of independence and ownership with which you can operate day to day, allowing you to shape your experience while working here to your own needs. Specifically. A lot of freedom to be able to adopt the latest coding practises and use popular open source libraries with a lot of community support. Since its a small team, you get to work hands-on with a broad list of tasks/product features which presents a great learning opportunity. Its a good work environment with really nice colleagues/people to work with remotely, There is a good flexible leave policy and a compassionate/understanding management team.

Cons

Work-Life balance is a bit hard and the workload is higher than usual, as is the case with most startups. Saturdays are working too (half days) but management does encourage employees to take as much time off as they need and do their best to accommodate every individual.
