Pros

Great benefits—many health insurance choices at every price point & type of plan Amazing office locations—Connecticut is great for days when being in the heart of Manhattan is too distracting/overwhelming Great culture—nearly everyone you talk to here will say they're working here because they believe in the goals and aspirations of Remedy and its movement to change healthcare. Nothing beats a happy group of colleagues! Fast-growing—there's a reason Remedy has become the largest company of its type in the US. They are constantly innovating and on top of the latest needs in the market. Competitive salaries—successful companies mean great pay packages! Responsive and involved HR—People Services is a great resource and is easily the best HR department I've ever interacted with Snacks/café area—both the NYC and the CT offices have great (mostly-healthy) snacks and other free food/coffee/drinks for employees. You'll never spend $50 a week on cold brew ever again

Cons

Manhattan location—some might see this as a "pro," but sometimes the proximity to Penn Station/tourist locations in Midtown makes it hard to just get lunch or get to work on time Not enough conference room space—a company undergoing rapid growth, of course, has these types of downsides. There's a daily fight for private space to conduct important calls/meetings in the New York City office. Luckily, that's not an issue in the CT office IT moves slow—This isn't so much their fault as it is, I think, a lack of available specialized personnel at any given time. Commuter benefits could be more robust—there's really only a pre-tax benefit available and I don't think it really helps much with the exorbitant MTA costs. However, this is typical for companies of this size in the US...

Remedy Partners Response

We recognize that conference rooms are sometimes hard to come by, but as you mentioned, it’s mostly because of how much Remedy has been growing. Though the food options around Penn Station aren’t as strong as other neighborhoods, we do occasionally order in lunch for the office, be it when we conduct lunch and learns or tech talks. We’ve also begun to do ‘Bagel Fridays’ every week. Additionally, we’re always open to new suggestions! Please feel free to use the Remedy Suggestion Box.
