Pros
Roofr has reshaped my perspective on what I should expect from an employer.
The team here genuinely believes in treating people with respect. Work-life balance is not just a buzzword—it’s a core part of the culture, led from the top by our CEO, Richy Nelson. Time and again, Roofr has encouraged me to set healthy work boundaries and maintain balance between my career, personal life, and long-term goals. Managers actively support their teams in managing workloads and prioritizing mental well-being rather than focusing solely on output.
In my role, I work closely with new hires during onboarding. There’s often a moment when someone asks, “This sounds too good to be true—what’s the catch?” I always enjoy that moment because the honest answer is simple: this is the Roofr way. Everyone plays a part in maintaining and strengthening the culture for the next person.
Professional development, skills training, and career opportunities are strong advantages of working at Roofr. However, the most impactful benefit is the culture.
My experience at Roofr has truly raised the standard for what I expect from both myself and any future employer.
Cons
I truly do have have a bad thing to say about Roofr. The only things that can come to mind when thinking of Cons is that working here has been an incredible experience that I know other employers will have a hard time living up too.
