We also appreciate your honest perspective on progression and internal promotion. Creating clear, fair career pathways and developing talent from within is an important focus for us. As the business has evolved, there have been times where external hires were made to bring in specific experience, but we recognise how important it is to balance this with strong internal development and progression opportunities. We’re continuing to invest in learning, development and clearer role frameworks to support internal mobility and help people understand what progression looks like at SMG.
