Pros

Science Interactive is genuinely mission-driven, and that comes through in the day-to-day work. The teams collaborate well, leadership is accessible, and there’s a strong sense that what we are building actually helps colleges open more doors for students. The company is small enough that your work matters, but established enough to provide stability and resources. There’s also a lot of autonomy if you’re someone who takes initiative, and new ideas are welcomed instead of pushed aside.

Cons

It’s a fast-moving environment, so priorities can shift quickly depending on what departments or partner schools need. Sometimes cross-team communication lags behind the pace of the work. Not deal-breakers, just part of working in a growing organization that handles a lot of custom solutions.

Pros

Science Interactive operates with the mission of making science accessible for students no matter where they are, and Science Interactive truly lives that mission. Having a hand in contributing to further the education of students across the country is very rewarding, and there aren't many companies that provide that opportunity. The company is also a great size in that feedback doesn't fall on deaf ears, it's heard and taken very seriously. Each employee matters.

Cons

Since education is very cyclical, there are very slow times and very busy times, but that's the nature of the beast.
