* Interview process is very slow! All the folks I know took two months or more before they got hired. This is also a side effect of the very conservative hiring decisions (see next item)
* Hiring decisions are made very conservatively. I'm actually somewhat in the fence on this one as to whether it's a pro or a con, but I know of some folks who may have potentially been hired but weren't due to slow decisions on the part of the company.
* Salary and benefits are merely average
* Institutional knowledge is very fragmented. There are many folks in the company that have knowledge of various technologies and tools, but there's no way to know unless you contact them directly or through the "ST Technical" mailing list. The Wiki is focused on internal products (Aspire, QPL). Each project has their own way of documentation which vary in quality and comprehensiveness.
