Pros

SecurityPal brings together some of the smartest and most humble people I’ve worked with. The team is collaborative, down to earth, and truly has each other's back — no ego, just people solving hard problems together. What makes the work especially meaningful is knowing we’re supporting customers in high-stakes, mission-critical workflows. You can feel the impact of what you’re building every day. We’re also thoughtful about being lean — doing more with less, staying efficient, and making smart tradeoffs to move quickly without bloating the team or process. Compensation and benefits are strong and align with the level of ownership and effort expected here.

Cons

It’s an early-stage environment, so you have to be ready for some chaos and ambiguity — things move fast, priorities shift, and not everything is fully baked. That said, it’s part of what makes the work exciting. If you get attached to a process or system, just know it might get overhauled tomorrow. Adaptability is key, especially when the company is scaling quickly and constantly evolving. For me this is not a con, but for some it may be --- just be self-aware and honest with yourself if this is for you!

Pros

Working on the EM team has been one of the most rewarding experiences in my career. The team is highly collaborative, with a strong emphasis on ownership, open communication, and continuous learning. Leadership is transparent and genuinely invested in helping individuals grow both technically and professionally. I’ve had the opportunity to work on high-impact projects that directly contribute to our product and customer success. The culture is fast-paced but balanced, and cross-functional collaboration feels natural and encouraged.

Cons

Like any growing company, things move quickly and priorities can shift—but that’s also part of what keeps the work exciting and dynamic. Clear documentation and consistent alignment help offset this challenge.
