Pros
Been working in sales for the past 20 years. Everything from Fortune 500 companies to start-ups. This was, by a very wide margin, the best job I ever had. The reason for this had little to do with the work (it’s hard), or the benefits (which were good), or the pay (which was good as well). Instead it had everything to do with the people who work there, how they conduct themselves, and how they treated their employees and each other. Everyone From the chairman, to the president, to the BU managers was transparent, kind, and accessible. These people actually truly care about their employees professional and personal development.
Even more astounding (at least in the insurance business) is that these people truly cared about their clients and always strive to do the right thing.
There were no office politics or broken promises. From the start the messaging from management was clear, unambiguous, and remained consistent. It is no wonder why many people in this firm count their tenure in decades and not just years.
Due to a change in circumstances I was unable to continue to work with them. My advice to you, if you are lucky enough to get an offer from them, is to immediately take the job. This is company filled with good people, with good hearts, who also happen to be extremely good at what they do. I sincerely doubt I will ever come across another organization like Seubert. I am grateful to have worked there and to have gotten to know such amazing people.
