I've been at Silverfin for several years now and what consistently stands out from other jobs I have previously been at is the genuine passion across the company to build something impactful for our customers. As someone who works closely with many accounting firms across the UK, I am able to see firsthand how our platform can help modernise their daily tasks and deliver better client outcomes.
The Senior Leadership Team is incredibly transparent and engaging across Belgium and the UK in all areas of the business. I believe our CEO in particular is responsible for these strengths as she is highly skilled in setting clear vision and goals by steering the company with focus and empathy. She regularly communicates openly throughout regular Town Halls and remains approachable at every step which isn't something I've experienced at other companies.
There is a real drive in the culture for being collaborative and ambitious with tasks, as it's clear people care about doing great work and supporting each other while doing it. The working environment is celebrated and rewarded with different unique initiatives that recognise effort, progress, and team impact. For example, long standing employees receive a handmade Dino to acknowledge their loyalty and tenure and new starters are onboarded with a lot of time and care. One of the great benefits of working at SilverFin is the monthly 'well-being' days which gives employees a day off to spend doing things outside of work.
Like every company, there are still some areas of improvement but I've seen an honest effort from SLT to improve any issues that have arisen across the last few years whilst I have been working here.

Cons
The UK office will sometimes only have 2-3 people in on some days which makes collaborating as a team slightly more difficult.
