Pros

Working at Smartbite has truly been an incredible journey. Since I joined in 2023, I’ve experienced continuous learning, hands-on exposure to operations, and genuine career growth. The system here is streamlined and easy to use, which makes our day-to-day work so much more efficient. What stands out the most is the positive and friendly environment. The team is not only professional but also very supportive – it genuinely feels like a second home. Management is approachable and always willing to listen to feedback, suggestions, and new ideas. They empower us to take ownership and bring innovation to the table. Smartbite is a company that believes in upskilling and nurturing talent, and I’m proud to be part of a place that values both personal and professional growth. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a fulfilling and exciting career to join Smartbite.

Pros

Company is moving much faster now compared to last year as I heard Management stepped back in and started closing deals directly — things are back on track. Especially a few people that work 10-12 hours per day every single day. Wrong hires from the past (some with a too “consulting” style but no real ownership) have been let go. Payroll has been optimized, so more resources go into actual growth. The people who are still here are more focused, more action-oriented, and more responsible. If you’re curious, hands-on, and want to build something, this is a good place to learn and grow quickly. Clear opportunities to take more responsibility if you prove yourself — I’m working hard because I want a promotion by the end of the year.

Cons

Some low-performers are still in the team and are protected too long — even when they keep making daily mistakes with customers and I don’t know what some analyst or people do with no clear results. Invest in more commercial and motivated customer support people that love customers. Can be frustrating when you’re trying to push forward and others don’t care as much. Sometimes the standard for hiring isn’t strict enough — the company should only take in people who are curious, fast, and really want to grow - Hopefully a new HR will come and help with better hiring - attract the right people. Not the place for people who want to be comfortable or just do the bare minimum - unfortunately these people will slow the team down

Pros

The company has made big improvements, especially with new client growth. Leadership is clear and focused, pushing for real results using dashboards A better team culture now that the lazy and dishonest people are gone

Cons

Operations still need improvement, but progress is happening. Hiring from corporates didn’t work well—better to bring in people who thrive in a fast-paced environment.
