Flexible working hours. Most of the front desk staff goes to school and are generally able to swap shifts. Low job skill required and generally very relaxed.

Can be stressful, general service industry complaints about customers. Spa use is inherently dangerous, therefore accidents can happen (very infrequently.)
Management generally allowed for a very flexible schedule. Overall workload was not heavy but very diverse. Learned much about running a small business.

At the time of my employment there was a very urgent need for structure and consistency in company policies. It was ran as a small business without formal competency targets for all levels of staff. This made employment evaluation and neatly impossible and employees generally dissatisfied with their jobs.
