Pros
Spawn is a big family that really does support their employees both professionally and personally. Benefits are great, and include extras like PAWturnity and summer Fridays. Every employee can have an impact on the direction of the agency based on the ESOP (employee-owned) structure and the transparency that comes from the Executive team due to this structure provides understanding of agency challenges more than any other place I have worked. Leaving was a very hard decision and 100% based on my professional goals and had nothing to do with not being happy with working at Spawn. I will miss them!
Cons
Can't think of many. You would think maybe location with the agency being based in Alaska, but the chance to travel there every now for employees outside of Alaska is actually a huge plus.
