Pros

I like working at Spectrum because the culture is built around doing what is right for the families and not the business. They have excellent training opportunities that you would not get elsewhere. The owner has brought in many industry leaders to train us in a small group setting where we can get individualized training rather than just sending us to a conference with too many people. It has really helped me become a better BCBA. Also, there are lower case hours than with other companies allowing me to give more attention to the clients I have.

Cons

Not really any downsides related to this company but with any company that provides services - the job can be difficult with all of the outside influences like insurance companies trying to fight you every step of the way.

Pros

The emphasis on growth is great! So far I have been afforded many opportunities through spectrum including online classes, conferences, and much more. I have also been able to grow from being a behavior tech to a registered behavior tech, and then to a lead tech and there is still growth opportunities within the company. Every 6 months we have values meetings and get pay raises based on performance and other learning opportunities that we accomplished. The company definitely gives a lot of opportunities to grow and your pay can reflect that if you put in the work! I knew nothing about ABA before I started and I learned everything I know through Spectrum.

Cons

It can be stressful at times helping a kid navigate difficult scenarios, but if you remember how awesome it is to help the kids learn and grow it is easier! Everyone is also helpful and willing to support when needed.
