Pros

- Handling live chat and emails - Fully remote - Great career growth - Pay is alright considering the type of work. I never felt overworked like other reviews mentioned (?!) - First week of work and training was done in groups, it fostered a feeling of belonging

Cons

It’s a shame it’s closing down in Australia but I disagree with the previous review. 6 months is plenty of notice for a redundancy. If Squarespace would have provided a month notice, I guess those colleagues would have been in shambles. There are always things that can be improved obviously but overall I’ve been happy to work at Squarespace.

Pros

100% Remote Work: You have the flexibility to work from anywhere, eliminating the need for commuting and allowing you to create a comfortable home office setup. Competitive Salary: Squarespace offers a good salary that reflects the value and importance of your role, providing financial stability and satisfaction. Work-Life Balance: The remote nature of the job allows for a better work-life balance, giving you the opportunity to manage personal and professional responsibilities more effectively.

Cons

Limited In-Person Networking: Remote work limits opportunities for in-person networking, which can be valuable for career growth and forming stronger professional relationships. Technology Dependence: A reliable internet connection and functional technology are crucial for remote work. Any technical issues can disrupt your workflow and productivity. Self-Discipline Required: Working from home requires a high level of self-discipline and time management skills to stay focused and productive without direct supervision.
