The challenges are all related to growing a regional insurer into a super-regional insurer which affects both process, underwriting, sales and technology. The company has undergone huge forward-looking changes in the last 5 years, positioning itself for spreading its risk as well as undertaking expensive changes in technology for ease of use by its customers and its personnel.
People are consistently demonstrating high levels of competencies, and a respect for work life balance. Many community outreach initiatives sees the organization involvement so great, many years we exceed expectations with generosity and kindness. Opportunities to learn and grow, though we need to promote opportunities to celebrate the people who invest in personal development. Claims representatives are high caliber - as a policy holder and employee - I know we have an excellent product, as demonstrated by the claims service.
Cons
We continue to be challenged to improve efficiencies in our internal processes. Strategic efforts to improve are there, and in time will be implemented, but in the interim we have many solutions which have the feel of 'a work around' while we implement the new and better processes.
