Pros

Such an exciting and thoughtful company. Stellic is still small and is going through the challenges of scaling, but the founders have focused on the right things - the right people in the right places. Everyone is very talented and while the teams transform and evolve to be more effective, things can be challenging, but the long term goals are always aligned. Pay is good, stock bonuses are nice, the partners we interact with are awesome.

Cons

Would like to see a 401k match and some better insurance, but those can come with time.

Pros

Mission-Driven Work: Stellic is deeply focused on making a difference in higher education, and the team genuinely cares about empowering students and institutions. Ownership & Autonomy: I'm given a lot of responsibility and trust to drive outcomes. This is true across the team, regardless of title. If you thrive in an environment where you can take initiative and make an impact, this is a great place. Smart & Passionate Colleagues: The team is filled with curious, driven, and collaborative people who push each other to be better. There's a strong culture of learning and open discussion. There is a focus on aligning on principles first, then taking action. Fast-Paced: If you enjoy solving complex problems in a startup environment, Stellic provides exciting challenges with meaningful work. The pace is fast, and there’s always an opportunity to take on new initiatives. Culture of Continuous Improvement: There’s an emphasis on operational excellence, refining processes, and making things better, whether it’s hiring, onboarding, or how the company runs. Founders who Care: The founders care about me as a human and do everything to avoid rote/formal/emotionless interactions.

Cons

Not for Those Who Prefer a Slow-Paced Environment: If you prefer a lot of structure, a traditional corporate setting, or a 9-5, this isn't going to be a good fit. Growing Pains: As with any scaling company, there are evolving processes and challenges that come with growth. Sometimes, things aren’t perfectly defined, and you have to be comfortable with ambiguity. Still Refining Some Internal Processes: From hiring to onboarding to operational workflows, the company is always iterating. This is a pro for those who like building, but it can be challenging if you’re looking for everything to be fully established.

Pros

The leadership here goes above and beyond, in my personal experience, they invested a lot of time and resources to help me learn and grow in both my personal and professional lives. They value the potential, drive and ownership. The company is highly driven by the mission of improving student success in higher education, you can really see the live impact of your work. The company still operates with a startup mindset which means that you have limitless opportunities to innovate, own, learn and grow in different dimensions. The compensation and benefits are very competitive.

Cons

I couldn't think of any.
