Pros

Everyone wants to work with the brightest scientific minds, but stemcentrx went one step further when team building. Our employees are high energy, passionate about science, dedicated to our mission of helping patients, and devoted to personal growth and the growth of our team members. This is a challenging face-paced environment, and surrounding yourself with the right colleagues is critical to success. Going the extra mile is always easier with someone cheering you along.

Cons

Adjusting to the demands of the work environment can be tough. Having a personal crisis can be extremely detrimental to your performance. Work life balance isn’t really a value of the company, but things are trending in that direction. Salaries could be more competitive.

Pros

Hardworking, motivated, and passionate people that are driven by company’s mission, but makes sure to have a great and fun culture – 80s and 90s day, chili and cornbread cook offs, dunk tanks and slip n slides. Supportive and collaborative work environment and CEO holds monthly meetings on any updates. Management cares about professional growth and will listen and offer solutions to issues. Wouldn’t work anywhere else!

Cons

Aggressive but achievable timelines. Growing fast and hard to meet people if you are shy

Pros

Learned more here than anywhere I've ever worked. Small company, fast-paced, so your contributions have a measurable impact. Management does listen if you speak up (but you need to speak up!). Considering the work-load and timelines, still good work-life balance.

Cons

Can get stressful at times, need to be careful not to get too buried (no one is going to notice, you need to self-manage this...) No 401k matching. Only 3 weeks PTO.
