Pros

Paid and informal training in which you are able to step right in immediately. You are immediately placed with children and somewhat learn as you go.

Cons

Some cons are the hours. Sometimes there would be a large gap between sessions. It would be nice to get paid for the driving time as well as the break, but the gap would be hard sometimes

Pros

- super friendly Clinical directors that have a genuine interest in helping you develop professionally - adorable and sweet kiddos - understanding and responsive scheduling coordinator - great supervisors and monthly trainings

Cons

- internal communication between BCBAs and RBTs can be improved. It can feel like you are in the dark sometimes when it comes to changes in the client’s schedule, absences, etc - it’s not for everyone! This is tough work that requires a great amount of patience, empathy, and a willingness to grow professionally. This is not a punch in and punch out type of job if that’s what you are hoping for.
