Pros
Creative, clean, safe & fun atmosphere. Regular morning meetings & scheduled breaks. Sense of accomplishment when a project is complete is awesome.
Cons
Whims of a madman run the place. Hours can get a little crazy and you have to rush or cut corners when you don't want to & meet made up time quotas & always be showing a 'sense of urgency'. Employees go home worrying about their jobs & turnover is higher than normal as the owner is very choosy about who he employs. They try to fire within a year (so unemployment falls to previous employer?)

The work can be interesting since it's all custom
Cons
Must stroke the bosses ego or be treated with indifference and have your job threatened. Expectation is that you possess engineer knowledge but are willing to work for laborer wages.
