Pros

I would wholeheartedly recommend this company to anyone looking to get into Sales and/or Marketing Operations. The job is very rewarding and I can not say enough good things about the CEO, the Sales Director, and the Operations Directors. They all make it easy to want to work hard and help the clients generate some amazing new opportunities for their business'. 1. The work life balance is excellent, and I never felt like I was working more hours than I should have been. 2. The culture that's been developed is extremely inclusive and inviting, with great incentives planned (gotta put in the work though to go on those, of course). 3. Uncapped commission means you have the power to determine your own income, and the base salary that comes with is a nice added bonus. 4. Management could not be more supportive, I have never met a group of people who want to see their colleagues succeed more than the StraightIn Execs. Moreover, they are beyond helpful when you need help or clarification with anything. 5. There is very quick opportunity for advancement early in your career at StraightIn, and you are supported along the way until you achieve that. 6. The US office is rapidly growing, and this is a fantastic place to work if you want to be part of something that's going to keep growing year after year.

Cons

The only Con I can really think of is the fact that if you work in the Chicago office, upper management is located in the UK so you do not see them often, which is a shame.

Pros

I started at StraightIn in 2022 as a graduate. The transferable skills I have acquired since have been invaluable, allowing me to move into a role I have always wanted at a large financial firm. With that being said, StraightIn is by no means a stepping stone; it's a strong foundational layer for anyone looking to enter the corporate world. The opportunities for growth are based on merit, for example, I was promoted twice within the space of one year - seeing a 33% pay increase in this time too. This company has helped me grow both as a professional and as a person. Before working here, working alongside other people was a foreign concept to me. My teamwork ethic was next to none; and I was lucky to have landed a job that allowed me to teach me the importance of being able to work well within a team. Every single member of SMT (but especially Jessica) is a pleasure to work with, are always ready to listen to ideas, and give credit where credit is due. While it might take some time for ideas to be implemented [like in any growing company], they do pull through and you can see that they really are listening to the employees. The work environment is unrivalled; management is always eager to help, and the office is more or less one big family [Without the usual toxicity, which is rare!] They are attentive to the fact that everyone works at a different pace, and the CEO is someone who doesn't give up on people so easily.

Cons

The atmosphere is a social one, meaning it could take a while for someone who is shy to come out of their shell.

Pros

StraightIn is a relatively small but high growth company. The benefits of a small company come with this; you get to know pretty much everyone, including those at the top. Processes and internal affairs are pretty transparent, and the company culture is fun. There's a lot of camaraderie here and it helps to have a good sense of humor. Another benefit from the size and culture: good work and a strong work ethic are recognized by everyone. I've seen plenty of promotions, pay raises, and have been rewarded with them myself. Incentive trips are also a regular occurrence. Seniority matters less than a strong work ethic. It's also a really great company to join for young people or fresh graduates looking to start their careers. In short order, anyone working on the delivery side will have experience in almost any industry you can think of with the clients we work with, so it's a great sampling of the business world.

Cons

Like I said, it's a small company so if you don't want to work hard and stand out you probably won't thrive here. If you aren't comfortable on calls and thinking on your toes you may also struggle here. You might also struggle if you have difficulty managing your time, staying organized, and keeping tabs on many things at a time. These are less cons and more warnings (but I also think these are skills you would need to succeed pretty much anywhere).
