Pros

I came to read reviews and felt that I have to write also. If you are smart and bright, intelligent, but your family didn’t have enough to give you MBA or smth. In prestige University ,You are trying to catch an opportunity, but it is hard, so this is a chance. There you can get competitive package for the skills you have and your experience, not for the degree only. Some wrote discrimination- so it is discrimination? Not at all. You can gain incredible experience- all nationalities in one company, work under pressure, train your moral intelligence to find the way to deal with complicated people. You can grow , develop, learn, finally get paid as you deserved, have salary increase of 50/100%. Nothing is impossible! Was it hard ? Yes! You are getting rate which is higher then market price so you will work like a horse. But always remember, you get what you paid for. You have to finish many things, so working day is longer, up to you though. This company gives you incredible basis to move wherever you want afterwards with this experience. You can survive even in jungle after that, believe me! Some wrote racism, not equal pay- dears, open your eyes, we face racism daily everywhere, don’t live with your pink sunglasses. Unequal pay- it is everywhere, if you didn’t know. We are not talking now about companies with US, Europe HQ offices. Some wrote that they will terminate you fast- if you are smart and hardworking, you will not be terminated. I saw plenty of absolutely useless people who were terminated and it was right decision. They didn’t know simplicity, were running around drinking coffee and laughing, didn’t find approach to management or were simply crazy. They thought they’ll come, will get paid and will do nothing. That’s not the case. You will come there to work, be ready. I had a nervous tick after 2 years. My current employer doesn’t terminate people, so useless employee will be wandering around departments and everyone around him will suffer- is it better, you think? Plus, he takes someone’s potential vacancy. Late pays, yes. Can be 2 weeks, but again, if your compensation is good, you can wait. Will learn how to manage your monthly budget. Deductions for being late- yes. People tend to be lazy and be late for the meeting. Guess what? None was late! I am late everywhere always, but not in Streit. If you have problem with discipline, great place. There are rules. So play by the rules and you won’t get deductions. I was very shy, but had a strong personality. I’ve learned how to say no, defend my borders and private space. Now I can eat anyone who stands on my way. Not for everyone- yes. If you are senior with experience based on well-organized companies, you will not stay. You have better options. If you are lazy or don’t have brain, you will be terminated very fast. Most of people have lack of critical mind so they tend to over-estimate themselves. If you have soft or week personality, it is not your place. Beginning and mid of carrier are perfect.

Cons

Some wrote- UN sanctions. Company didn’t ship cars to sanction countries. Broker did this, then it was a problem. Don’t say if you don’t know. Some wrote - CEO is a dictator, narcissistic, want people to shake. Let’s be honest, all privately owned companies here are small kingdoms with the ruler. 99.99 of them are crazy, it is a fact. Nice people do not achieve much in life. Were you people born yesterday? Or worked only with US, UK, Australian, European companies? Check local market and get shocked. Chairman is a specific person, yes. If you are a core worker, he will respect you. His screams will not scary you, you will look at it like it is an angry hamster. Learn not to take things personally. If he gives you a chance to work and have a good salary, opportunity to learn and grow within the company, didn’t say any bad word to you, can you call him bad? No. specific personality, yes. Sometimes it was unfair, when I worked so hard, and didn’t have increase when everyone around did, for nothing really. When I was getting additional responsibility for free. I cried many times, was ready to leave. But thought about my salary was stopping me always. But you can always approach with this concerns - not once, maybe 5 times, maybe through other managers on your side. And you’ll get what you deserve. This is better than working 6 years in a great company and get increment of 1100, don’t you think so? 2015 - time of crisis. No salaries for 6 months. And…people were working, yes, without salaries. I think it tells a lot. Those who didn’t have financial pillow, started to leave first. Some are working till now. It should tell you a lot as well. This time the words of CEO on the meeting were: if you want to leave, leave. You are all complaining, but is here any of you in the room, who came to me, asked me for help and I refused? It was silence. Because each of us, including me asked for help and he didn’t refuse. Some wrote - people are not professional. Yes, when your manager is stupid or psychologically unstable it is a torture to work with him. Or when he gets his salary and you do all the job, unfair. Life is unfair) professional people will not stay there long time, unless they want to suck huge money from the company for a while. I terminated one member of my team. I didn’t recruit her, she was elderly and didn’t know word and excel even. I didn’t have time to baby-sit this person and to teach her basic, no visa yet. It was unfair from her point view. It was right from my point of view. Was it her mistake ? No. HR’s mistakes. Did she understand she was not qualified for position? Of course, not! She thought she is perfect. She was cursing me, I was unprofessional etc. Kinda same thing with all those comments.
