Great hours. It can be a lucrative career, a secure-well established company. Depending on the department, its interesting work. Fast paces, so the work day goes fast. Can wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
Cons
Low pay-but you can earn commission! High insurance cost. Dealing with some irate, uneducated, foul mouthed people on the phone.
Went from walking in off the street to filling out application to interview to hired to starting training all in under an hour without any kind of background check.
Cons
Didn't complete training me after a month of being employed when it was supposed to only take 4 days because the manager didn't have time, which means I wasn't allowed to take payments, which means I wasn't able to earn beyond the minimal hourly base pay. Also too strict about the rather lousy script.
