Pros
At Summit, we have a very team orientated culture. The training program is more of a mentorship, and it leads to a very close-knit office. It is not a "one size fits all" type of training, it is tailored to that individual. Everyone in the office pitches in and helps out along the way to make sure everyone is getting what they need. We like to enjoy ourselves and get together outside of the office as well. We have team nights almost every week!
The opportunity for growth is just as unbelievable as the culture and unity here at Summit Management Group. It's is a very "black and white" merit based system that we use to measure success. We strictly promote from within, and we don't promote based on seniority, favorites, or anything else like that. People here at Summit get out what they put in. And if someone is just looking for some experience and wants to figure out if marketing is for them, we are more than happy to help them out as well! I saw my first promotion within a month of being with the company. I have been here for 8 months now, and I have seen two more promotions since my first.
Above all, the culture here at Summit Management Group is the most impressive component of this great company! That is definitely the lasting impression on me from Summit Management.
Cons
There really aren't any cons that I could think of. I mean, it is not an easy job by any means. We will hold you accountable and to a higher standard, but that is the way it should be. We just want to see progression from our new people.
