Pros

- You get to hit the ground running with high-impact client work right off the bat. My ideas were taken seriously from the jump, and I got to participate in client calls and get involved in high-level strategy pretty early on. You really learn by doing, which worked super well for me—definitely not a style for everyone but I really enjoyed it. - Lots of opportunities for promotion. The company & creative team really value hard work and your personal contribution: you get out what you put in. They almost always promote from within. - Managers are deeply invested in your personal growth and and interests. I felt like my manager tried to tailor my work to clients I was truly interested in; after my first year, I started to get more input over the projects I was on and always felt comfortable expressing my preferences (which of course aren't met 100% of the time, but c'est la vie.) I felt like my manager trusted me and there wasn't a constant stress of "proving myself" that I've felt in other positions. - Really fun environment of young people. I made a few really close friends at Superbolt, in large part because of the buzzy social atmosphere. Weekly happy hours were a great way to connect with people across teams who I didn't regularly collaborate with. - Creative team honestly has great work/life balance. In general, the creative team tends have a bit more of a chill vibe than the marketing team does. The one time I worked on the weekend, the head of copy told me to never do it again and offered to take some of my work for the big project I was stressed about. Senior creative leadership would almost always take the brunt of tough client demands and large-scale projects. I never worked past 7:30pm.

Cons

- Only 1 mandatory in-person day a week. - Having a high concentration of young coworkers is a double-edged sword: a lot of people are still developing their grasp on work/life balance, and figuring out how to be both young n' hungry AND live a healthy, balanced life. Can be difficult to see others navigating this. (And navigating it yourself.) - Def a good amount of drinking culture at the office when we have happy hours which is not for everyone - Might be hard for an introvert. Very buzzy and talkative workplace (even just on slack).
