Upper management is terrible!!!
Supervisors have clear favorites and let them get away with everything.
TOXIC work enviornment.
Pretend to be a positive and inclusive organization to outsiders.
Extremely performative. Pretends to be the greatest place to work.
Upper management treats advocates as if they have no value. Never ask for their opinions or ideas.
They are not proactive in any way, shape, or form.
Shelter is not a priority for the main office.
Extremely evident divide in treatment between the main office and shelter staff - they try to deny this.
Shelter staff is very often forced into unsafe situations.
Some staff feel comfortable in bullying clients.
Executive Director is comfortable in not being involved or trying to solve any problems.
Management has no idea how to handle any form of conflict or difference in opinions.
Management wants everyone to think, act, and work the same. They do not appreciate/want freethinkers.
Too many management members allow personal feelings to direct how they handle situations.
Honestly, I can't wait to leave.
