Pros

Had a chance to prepare software tests with a fairly well defined frame of based on requirements and timeframes. Best thing was a chance to learn about automated testing which helped me improve my skills and reduced headaches too.

Cons

There were a few times I was flying by the seat of my pants particularly when customised requirements were sold in a hurry by the sales team and account managers. It got better over time but was always a struggle to not let clients down.

Pros

Was able to work on report writing and candidate feedback for senior roles. Also learnt about job analysis and position profiling for product development and validation projects. We also worked on rapid product customisation for large clients which had me sprinting quite a bit. Really nice team to work with & I enjoyed Friday drinks.

Cons

Although they say they are agile and into development, the team beyond the senior leaders was pretty young and inexperienced. They were stretched thin and should have had more experienced people in the top roles. They tried to do development with products like 15 5 but it could have been more consistent.

Talegent select in on talent and potential staying true to their word on using assessment and interview solutions to screen and select me. I did not have much experience but I had the opportunity to develop and work with a variety of team members from software developers to design and psychologists. The team were supportive and my manager did a great job providing the chance to try new things. Team events were fun and learnt a lot from Friday highlights.

Cons

A young team meant I had the chance to work with a lot of people my peer group but would have appreciated more coaching and development as I was expected to pick things up quickly. Leadership could have been more consistent and I could see a lot of them were inexperienced too.
