Pros

I have worked at triyoga for several years and still go into work every day feeling privileged to work with London’s best yoga teachers in a company that is led by people who strive to live up to its ethos of providing a space for traditional, authentic practices of yoga. I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with “gym yoga” studios - there is a demand for that currently well served by other studios like Frame, Psycle. And those studios are good fun! But the people who work at triyoga are trying to do something different - holding true to the roots and source of yoga, while making space for innovation and new discoveries. If you are looking for an intellectually-stimulating environment where serious conversations are had about what yoga is, and how it “works”- then this is the place for you. Don’t get me wrong - it’s also good fun (as evidenced by the legendary Christmas parties!) It’s refreshing to work with people who genuinely want to help - triyoga embodies selfless service in all respects. I was given a chance several years ago, when no other employer would have given me a second look considering I’d been out of the traditional workforce for so long raising a young family. Most mums struggle to find jobs after being jobless for so long, but senior management believed in me, and gave me a well-paid job with responsibilities.

Cons

triyoga does a lot from regular classes to workshops and therapies, retail, cafes and more. You can feel snowed under at times with the amount of work, but in my experience whenever I have asked for help, it’s been met. It’s a busy place and if you’re not used to working hard and rising to meet expectations that are clearly set, then it’s not for you. triyoga is a vibrant place best suited for those with professional, hard-working, want-to-succeed attitudes.
