It's a small company and you get to know people on different levels very fast. Everyone is willing to help out when you need it. Minimum supervision.
Cons
No training to speak off. You are thrown in head first and expected to swim. You are basically left to your own devices as far as training goes. You either learn it yourself or you don't.
