At some point the top management was changed by the owners of the company and ended up setting back Unwire significantly. I left before they fired the CEO, so I can't say how it is today, but I am aware of several incidents with people that have been let go due to issues with the management that took over afterwards. As such, I guess the company is struggling to get back on track. But it seems there is still some social culture and enthusiasm left, when I meet some of the new people.
