-Communication between functional teams, in addition to top-down comms, could always be better. When changes in role responsibilities are communicated, it can be abrupt and we have to roll with it.
-We are a lean team, which at times can be overwhelming. Some individuals may feel like they're "on an island" because silos do exist.
-Getting away/unplugging/going on vacation feels like a challenge at times. While "unlimited" PTO sounds good in theory, the volume of work is not always conducive to taking time off. This is an industry issue, and not necessarily unique to Upwave.
-The company is very heavy-handed in its approach to hiring Sales Directors. The Sales:CSM ratio could be revised.
-When Product bugs occur they can throw a wrench in the day's plans & CSMs have to get creative with work-arounds.
-A 401k match would be nice (even 2%).
