Pros

Employees are treated as family. VVH is a place for growth and career development. They often seek to grow from within, which is empowering to all. Patients are the number one priority. It is an honor to be part of this organization.

Cons

Cost of living in the area but this has nothing to do with the hospital.

Pros

1) Autonomy with staff, midlevel, and physicians is second to none. 2) Ability to increase your income with additional, well incentivized, OT. 3) Good Work Load/Staffed appropriately. 4) Appropriate Orders for therapies to complete. 5) Great Pulmonologist

Cons

1) Level 3 Trauma Center ( Yet we are a centralized hub for several other hospitals ) 2) Level 2 Nursery ( We do go to all high risk deliveries, which is good ) 3) Lack certain Specialist ( Nephology for example ) 4) Older Equipment ( AVEA Ventilators ) 5) Due to difficulties of staffing, may work with several travelers, and personal issues are not always addressed.
