Probably the best place to work at (Perth team); Helpful people and a very flat team structure
Pros
I can't think of a better place to work at. The workload is completely reasonable, and everyone is really understanding. Progression is real and very evident. Lot's of opportunities for projects (though Perth/Australia is a bit focused on mining specifically) and you're given a good shot at proving yourself. The mentoring is taken very seriously and you're given good, solid advice from your mentor. The (can only speak for the Perth office) team is really nice, and the project team is helpful and always open to suggestions while (obviously, this varies from project to project) senior team members looking out for the fresher members.
Cons
[Coming from someone who didn't make it past probation, so take it with a grain of salt] You're held to a slightly higher standard than would be expected (speaking from a graduate's perspective), which is fine generally but it might be a tad misleading when you're in probation and aren't told about your performance till they already decide whether or not your employment continues. A con (though this is more for consulting in general) is, from my experience, you might be assigned to a team where the team lead micromanages, but the issue is that management gets their report from the team lead, and even though you are given a chance to explain, it feels more like it's a professional courtesy and they've already made up their minds beforehand. All of these are relevant only to graduates, for other positions none of the cons would typically apply.
