Pros
Working at Wiredrive after working for a lot of crappy companies has been a very good eye opener to what a good company culture should be. Always trying to have the most positive and respectful outlook on developing a strong and competitive brand.
Cons
There are growing pains as with any company, but that will just be something that fixes itself over time.There is nothing else I can really see as a con.

I've been with Wiredrive for a little over 6 years and I've seen the company grow from a small late stage startup to an established SaaS business. The development team has been my home and they are fantastic to work with. The company focuses on hiring great people who know their trade and hunger for more. Not only has the team grown but the management as well. The dev team leaders are always trying to make things better for not just the company but for individuals as well. The projects are challenging and purposeful. They usually start with 'how can we improve X and what new, stable technology will fulfill that?'. Even though new technology is investigated, it's not always used. If the tool doesn't fit, the company doesn't try to force into place just jump onto the bandwagon. Everything has to be cohesive and that approach makes maintenance much easier. The company has recently gone through a re-organization of the leadership team and it really shows that the CEO is committed to making the company stronger. Transitioning from a small company to something established takes work and planning. The re-org has already shown to be beneficial to the direction of the company. You will not need to worry that the drivers are not steering it into multiple directions.
Cons
Every company has it's benefits and downsides. Wiredrive is not without its faults. The transition from small to medium will have its growing pains as divisions and individuals try to define what their roles are supposed to be. This primarily affects managers and not the teams themselves. Teams, however, do need to be patient while the managers situate themselves. This isn't a con as much as a disclaimer. While the work is challenging, not everything will be easy. There will be dev projects that are hard, complicated, difficult, etc. The Wiredrive application is not some simple consumer product. It is a B2B application that needs to service a demanding industry. Not every feature will be fun and exciting. Not every upgrade will be cool and shiny. It will be Work. If you want somewhere easy where you can check out, you won't like it here. If you want something that makes you better as an Engineer, you will like it here.
