      Great Experience!

      Pros

      - As an intern, I learned A LOT! I really didn’t think they would trust me with actual tasks and sprint tickets, but they did. I felt like my work mattered. - I had great support from my internal team - I made some suggestions to the management regarding our work environment, and they actually listened and tried it out - Everyone seems very approachable!

      Cons

      - There were some communication inefficiencies cross teams and departments, but they created a work group to discuss and actively tackle this issue, and it actually did get better, which is nice. - The experience of onboarding the company as an employee was smooth, but the setup of my technical environment was a bit challenging and inefficient due to the lack of a well-documented resource.

      Fun start-up culture where you can build a career

      Pros

      There's something about a start-up that is not for everyone, but for the right person can be a lot of fun. Company is going through a lot of growth and there's plenty of opportunities to learn new things and take on big projects. Management empowers lower level employees to make decisions and take on new initiatives. Benefits are decent as it's backed by a large company and shared with them. Nice to be in the education sector supporting schools. Flexible with all the issues that Covid has brought up in our personal lives.

      Cons

      Culture needed some work, but moving in the right direction with the new CEO.
