Pros

I really enjoy my role as a HIS here. You’re not just doing basic check-ins with customers; I’m doing the full scope of the job—hearing evaluations, fittings, fine-tunings, and follow-ups—all through telehealth. The technology we use is smooth, which makes it much easier to focus on the customer rather than the software. The company culture is great, too. It’s a very forward-thinking environment and doesn’t feel like a traditional, rigid clinic. It’s been rewarding to see how much we can actually accomplish for people’s hearing without them needing to leave their house. If you're into the innovative side of audiology, you'll definitely appreciate the way hear.com does things.

Cons

Since it’s all remote, you definitely spend a lot of time in front of a camera. You also have to be patient with customers who aren't super tech-savvy—sometimes you’re helping with WiFi or tech setup before you can get to the actual appointment.

Pros

Working in sales at hear.com has been a genuinely rewarding experience, especially if you’re motivated by performance and growth. The earning potential through commission is one of the biggest highlights. There’s a clear connection between the effort you put in and the rewards you receive, which makes the role both challenging and exciting. The environment is fast-paced, which keeps things engaging and helps you continuously sharpen your skills. It’s a great place for people who thrive under pressure and enjoy hitting (and exceeding) targets. At the same time, the team atmosphere really stands out. Colleagues are supportive, collaborative, and driven, which makes a big difference in maintaining a positive workday even when things get busy. Overall, it’s a strong fit for anyone looking to build a career in sales, earn competitively, and be part of a high-energy, team-oriented culture.

Cons

Fast-paced environment can be stressful at times, and commission-based pay means income isn’t always consistent. High performance expectations may not suit everyone.

Pros

Fun culture and positive office environment. Lots of coaching support for sales consultants. Hands on leadership and training topics weekly. We try very hard to help sales reps succeed while also contributing to a heart-centered mission. All decisions made revolve around the customer's experience and really trying to improve their lives through better hearing. Unfortunately the average customer waits 7-10 years before taking action on their hearing. We want to disrupt this cycle and get them help sooner, while their hearing can still be helped!

Cons

High sales targets. Remote positions can feel more isolated rather than being in the office.
